How the idea came up ?
We always had the vision of developing the drug industry in Egypt. Since our 1st day in the pharmaceutical field, we studied the situation of drug industry in Egypt and we realized that we had to focus on a certain field that needs to be developed.
"The power that made us work day and night was our love to our country EGYPT".
So, the start was years ago when we had the big dream, when we had the idea of Nuclear Pharmacy Development "NPD".

Why this field in Particular ?
We were shocked to know that there is "0" Nuclear Pharmacists in Egypt who are dedicated to the patient safety in compounding and dispensing these radiopharmaceuticals.
" Meaning that nowadays there is NO Safety in dispensing these drugs."
We also found out that Egypt has got:
The facilities for large scale production of these radiopharmaceuticals
Highly skilled experts in their production
And above all, the high market demands for them.
It was our call:
WHY don't we produce?! WHY do we import all our needs?!!
Therefore it was NPD, Nuclear Pharmacy Development a workshop in the 1st Student Conference On Pharmaceutical Studies SCOPS, held from 18th to 22nd March 2006.
"It was a Nobel Purpose Deserving our lives."
" Meaning that nowadays there is NO Safety in dispensing these drugs."
We also found out that Egypt has got:
The facilities for large scale production of these radiopharmaceuticals
Highly skilled experts in their production
And above all, the high market demands for them.
It was our call:

What we gain from SCOPS?
We, The NPDians, decided to become one family, of 30 creative members, to share each moment in reaching our dream.
SCOPS was a great success, through it we managed to:
Collect Background information about radiopharmaceuticals and their industry in Egypt

•The Atomic Energy Authority ,AEA, " the authority producing radiopharmaceuticals" :
The Hot Labs Center
The Nuclear Reactor Center
The Cyclotron Center
•The National Center For Nuclear Safety &Radiation Control
•The Regional Center of Radiological Studies.
•The National Cancer Institute
•InterMark Marketing & Advertising Consulting firm
•ZAD Consulting Company.
Reveal the mystery of nuclear pharmacy and increase the awareness of the importance of this field, by
holding "NPD Awareness Day" for many students from several universities.
Create our project model involving:
Bring the project model to life:
By creating an environment for the gathering of the representatives of the authorities involved in the project model.
On that big day we gained the trust and the admiration of all the VIPs attending that conference day .They agreed to continue working on the project with the inspiration and dedication of the NPDians.
"But this wasn't the End; It was the end of the START."
And now we are continuing our journey as
